Customised Programs

Customised Programs

Expertly designed curriculum built around the business, combined with highly experienced facilitators, provides a platform for learners to acquire knowledge and develop skills.

What Are Customised Programs?

Strategic learning journeys designed to help organisations - and the leaders within those organisations - transition from point A to point B.

Why Customise Every Program?

If you can show us a standard learner, in a standard organisation, with standard problems, we will show you a standard off-the-shelf program.

The Approach

Customised programs are incredibly effective for developing leaders... If you get it right. With this in mind we employ a rigerous and structured approach centred around three key principals:

Concise Objectives & Outcomes

Having concise objectives and a clear understanding of outcomes is critical to the success of any customised program.

Buy-In & Commitment

Buy-in & commitment from senior business leaders is critical to the success of any customised program.

Pragmatic & Real

Pragmatic and real learning is critical to the success of any customised program. If it cannot be applied, it will not be taught.
1

Brief

An initial discussion with the Human Resource / Learning & Development team on the desired program objectives and learning outcomes. What does a successful program look like? What are the boundaries and constraints the program has to work within?
2

Discover

A detailed discussion with the Human Resource / Learning & Development team together with senior leaders to clarify program objectives and learning outcomes and how they should be measured. The purpose of this discussion is to ensure everyone is on the same page and is committed to the success of the program.
3

Design

The 1st draft of the curriculum design (lesson plan together with detailed explanation of learning activities) is presented to key stakeholders for approval. The design might go through as many as 3 iterations before moving on to the next stage.
4

Research

Interviews with key stakeholders, representatives of the business and potential learners are conducted to understand existing business processes and provide real examples of business issues that can be applied to the program.
5

Develop

The 1st draft of the courseware (slides, learner guides, manager guides and pre/post activities) is presented to key stakeholders for approval. The courseware might go through as many as 3 iterations before moving on to the next stage.
6

Execute

The program is deployed in part or entirely by Northpoint. Depending on the complexity and the structure of the partnership, this could involve multiple levels of check-ins and reviews to assess whether the program is on target to, or did achieve it's objectives.
