Strengthen How Teams Connect, Collaborate, and Deliver Results Together

Understand the interpersonal dynamics and structural conditions that drive performance, and move beyond guesswork with a clear view of what’s working, what’s not, and what to do next.

Team Dynamics & Effectiveness Assessment

High-impact teams do not emerge by chance. They are built on identifiable interpersonal dynamics and structural disciplines that shape how people collaborate, make decisions, and deliver results together.

The Active8™ Team Health Index is a research-informed team diagnostic that measures the eight conditions required for sustained team performance.

It bridges human dynamics and operational clarity, giving teams a practical framework to understand how they function beneath the surface.

Active8™ is not designed to label or judge. It creates a shared language for honest reflection, constructive dialogue, and focused improvement.

It helps turn insight into meaningful, team-owned action.

When teams stall, it is rarely a lack of talent. It is usually one or more hidden breakdowns in how the team works together. Active8™ helps teams address common challenges such as:

  • People staying silent, avoiding feedback, or walking on eggshells
  • Conflict that is either avoided or poorly handled
  • Unclear goals, roles, decision rights, or operating rhythms
  • Commitments slipping and accountability feeling personal
  • Low energy, cynicism, or “doing the work” without momentum
  • Delivery that is busy but not improving
  • Information gaps, misalignment, or constant rework
  • Inclusion issues, cliques, or people feeling unseen

How It's Deployed

A simple, high-integrity process that protects psychological safety and leads to tangible outcomes.

  1. Set-up and alignment: Confirm purpose, scope, confidentiality boundaries, participants, and what “good” looks like.
  2. Diagnostic launch: Team members complete the Active8™ survey online (typically 10 to 12 minutes).
  3. Insight report: Results are summarised by domain, highlighting strengths, risks, gaps, and key patterns.
  4. Facilitated debrief workshop: A structured conversation to interpret results, surface root causes, and align on priorities.
  5. Action planning: The team defines 2 to 4 high-leverage commitments with owners, specific behaviours, and measures.
  6. Follow-through: Optional pulse survey, coaching, or check-ins to embed change and sustain momentum.
