Masterclasses

Learn how to lead change that inspires commitment, not compliance.

Few leadership moments matter more than how you lead your people through change. The way leaders frame, communicate, and model change determines whether teams move forward with energy or resist out of fear. Done well, change leadership builds trust, alignment, and resilience. Done poorly, it breeds confusion, fatigue, and disengagement.

Lead Change with Intentionality

Change is no longer an occasional event. It’s the new normal. In a world defined by disruption, evolving technology, and shifting expectations, the ability to lead change effectively has become a defining leadership capability. Yet even the most well-crafted strategies can fail if leaders don’t recognise and respond to the human side of change; the emotions, fears, and motivations that determine whether people resist or commit.

  • Understand the neuroscience of change, and how the brain’s threat and reward systems drive resistance or engagement.
  • Apply the SCARF model to recognise the social triggers that influence how people respond to uncertainty.
  • Explore the Kübler-Ross Change Curve to anticipate emotional responses and adapt leadership behaviours accordingly.
  • Learn to use the ADKAR model as a step-by-step roadmap for guiding people through change.
  • Practise leading real-world change scenarios through experiential activities and peer feedback.
  • Build strategies to communicate with clarity, foster trust, and sustain momentum through complex transformations.

What you will learn

This highly interactive 1.5-day workshop helps leaders explore the neuroscience, psychology, and practice of leading successful transformation. Through immersive simulations, real business cases, and practical frameworks, participants learn how to reduce resistance, build engagement, and sustain momentum through uncertainty.

Day 1 focuses on experiencing and understanding how people respond to change; emotionally, psychologically, and behaviourally. Leaders unpack why change triggers resistance and what they can do to create conditions for trust, adaptability, and commitment.

  • Transformers Simulation: Experience fast, unexpected, and poorly communicated change to surface natural reactions.
  • Neuroscience of Change & SCARF Model: Learn how the brain’s threat and reward systems shape behaviour, and how leaders can minimise threat and amplify reward.
  • Business Case Analysis: Examine a real-world case to identify what effective change leadership looks like in practice.
  • Introduction to Change: Explore barriers to change, fatigue, and the critical factors that determine whether change sticks.
  • Kübler-Ross Change Curve Activity: Map emotions and behaviours along the change curve, linking them to SCARF triggers and leadership responses.

By the end of Day 1, leaders will understand the psychological and emotional dynamics of change and their role in shaping them.
